Warning: material is see through! I'm 6'0" 140# 28" waist and ordered an XS since that's all they had and I needed to hit a minimum for free shipping. Since other reviews said these ran large and my usual size is S, I figured this would be fine. NOPE. They are tight around the wait (so much so that I refuse to sleep in them, they are too constricting). They're also tight around the ankles, though that bothers me less. What bothers me the most though is that they are essentially leggings at this point, and the fabric is 100% see through at this tension. To be clear, my legs are rather skinny and the pants are still too tight. For people ordering the correct size, you may have some more leeway, but I still anticipate they will be see through at the joints and hips/butt during movement. I may even suggest sizing up from your normal size, but I don't have a good sense as to how big of a jump it would be between sizes (since I have to answer the question, though, I'm putting "true to size" even though I don't really know). Material is VERY soft and comfy, for what it's worth. The length is great, very long and scrunches up well (again, these are leggings on me, you may not even need to scrunch!).
