Overall: I love these jeans! They make my butt and thighs look nice, the color is pleasant, they're long enough, and they are comfortable!
Length: I'm 5'9" with a 33.5-34" inseam. These jeans are several inches too long for me, so I have to fold them under a few times. I'd really love it if you could come out with a 34" inseam version for us more average-tall folks. I didn't want my ankles showing, that's the worst, amd there really are limited tall maternity jean products out there.. so I went with these even though they are way too long. The length is such that when I'm laying down, they cover the back and under-foot part of my heels completely. But I still love them. At some point I will have to hem them, and I'm afraid of ruining them because of that. It would be really nice if you'd offer a 34" length version or offer free hemming services - I believe other companies like land's end and LL bean do that.
Another note. I would prefer a fabric drawstring that I tie over the adjustable rubber-ish one. The rubber-ish one does work, but, it is also a little irritating on the skin at the beginning of wearing before I'm distracted. Alternatively, a little pocket to put the excess into (instead of tucking it next to my skin) would be useful.
Speaking of pockets, I love that these jeans have functional pockets! And also, it is worth noting room for improvement. The jean pockets and the jeans overlap very minimally, like an inch or less, and the result is that sometimes a person can see the white pocket part exposed on the front.
Also, speaking of exposure, the stretchy belly fabric is very nice, and also, I wish there was 1 more inch of jeans fabric before the belly fabric. Why? Because sometimes it shows, in a few scenarios: if my shirt isn't long enough, or if the pants slide down a little. That's all it takes. I don't wear overly short shirts, so I'm just talking about shirts that used to fit me loosely pre-pregnancy that were regular length. (For reference, I'm 23 weeks pregnant.) So, there's only a couple non-maternity shirts that I can wear with these jeans because they for sure have to be long enough, due to the possibility that the dark blue belly fabric might peek an inch. So, I would prefer it if the jean fabric went up another inch.
But all that said, I still love these jeans! Buying a second pair! They're great!
Sizing: The size chart put me between 10-12 and 14-16. (43 hip). Pre-pregnancy I used to wear a medium 6-8, and my measurements used to be 35/36 bust, 30/31 waist, and 39-41 hip. With that in mind, I chose the smaller size in this product, 10-12, even though my hip size was 1 inch over. I'm glad I did. They fit great.
The fabric is stretchy, similar to jeggings, smooth, and the slim leg is just right. I appreciate the lack of distressed look - I can look professional in these and go to work in them as a teacher. Love them!
I weigh 172 now (23 weeks pregnant) and Pre-pregnancy weighed 145-155.
